Quick Stops on Mljet Island

We keep on going South and the next island on our starboard side is Mljet, a long stretch of fresh green vegetation popping out of the beautiful blue Mediterranean Sea. We decided we will have two stops in two different little bays and enjoy the late summer atmosphere.

The first night we got a nice mooring buoy in Polace, a little village at the end of a fjord with a couple of small restaurants, we picked one and finished our day with heaps of meat straight from the BBQ and some local red wine. The next morning after a "healthy" breakfast with chocolate croissant and milk, we left for our last stop before the big arrival in Dubrovnik. After a couple of hours of quiet and relaxed sailing with almost no wind at all we entered the bay of Okuklje were we planned to drop our anchor for the night but at the end we finished at a mooring straight in front of the next "Konoba" and decided to let the cook of this small restaurant do his work instead of cooking ourselfs. By the way this was a very wise decision. :-)
