A Walk around Ilovik Island
We spent the last couple of days anchored at Ilovik island. An isolated beauty with a population of 65 with the record of having the longest lifespan of Croatia. One evening just before another sunset we took a walk around the hills to a little church and to a bay on the other side of the island. The vegetation manly consists in "Mediterranean macchia" and olive threes hiding heaps of goats and sheep. So we decided it was time for a lamb stew with a good local wine at one of the local "Konobas" a very welcome change after weeks of fish and seafood.
