With or without ...

We started our trip now almost 2 months ago and enjoyed the quiet life on sea, in little bays and small villages. Lately we arrived at Sibenik a bigger town with nice shops, bars and restaurants, we didn't stay at the local marina as we found a place on the town quay. It was a very welcome change and made the daily life, like shopping for food and storing water much easier. But then suddenly we realized there was traffic, cars, motorcycles, noise and exhaust fumes, something we have completely forgotten about. We felt a bit strange to start thinking about something as common as cars and their importance in our life at the moment. We certainly don't miss them and prefer the silent evenings on a mooring with the sound of the wind, waves and cicadas.
PS: I still love my Harley Davidson :-)
